ST MARGARET'S BAY
PUBLIC REALM IMPROVEMENTS
In a sensitive conservation area, this project has sought to marry an architectural solution that is clearly contemporary but resonant with its context, with a varied functional programme. The architecture doesn’t over face the functions and manages a number of practical challenges.
The St Margaret’s Bay Pavilion is architecturally modest whilst housing a unique F+ B offer that integrates heritage stories of this historically rich and fascinating place. Along with this, practical elements such as WC/ Changing / Outside showers and Dog wash and incorporating visually challenging elements such as a sewage / water sub-station.
