SHOWCASE BUILDING
The showcase building, proposed for the Betteshanger Country Park will provide a versatile space for outdoor cinema, theatre and opera performances along with support for business events, festivals, SME showcasing and marketing.
The stage facing out on to the grass amphitheatre uses a pivoting screen. When closed this becomes a cinema screen, when open a canopy for outdoor performances.Internally there are offices, meeting rooms and support spaces for performances. When not in use as a stage the central double height space can be used to host school groups and workshops in need of a sheltered venue readily accessible from the country park.
