ECO LODGES
Studio Evans Lane developed detailed designs for a number of Eco-lodges which will enable visitors to sample off -grid living within a bucolic country park setting. The eco-lodges and visitors will be transported to a chosen location within the country park site with the use of Shire horses. The resurgence in the use of working horses and the clients extensive knowledge of equine management makes this both feasible and highly sustainable. Additionally the lodges have been designed so that they can be moved to locations such as festivals, remote AONBs throughout Kent or throughout the country and Europe.
The lodges fulfil the basic requirements for life off-grid with PV and solar thermal panels, a log burning stove and composting WC, however still maintain a feeling of luxury with high-quality, yacht style interiors. A number of lodges can be connected via fold-down platforms.
